Building Teachers' Content Knowledge to Improve Student Learning Outcomes
We believe teachers are the most powerful "in-school factor" leading to students' success. Our program was created because investing in the development of teachers is investing in the growth of students.
Request a QuoteStudents have a wide range of learning needs.
Math instruction is most effective when teachers have the knowledge and confidence necessary to be responsive to those needs.
While teachers are often provided support in implementing curricula (KCC), their growth in the other five domains of math knowledge is frequently overlooked.
We fill that gap by providing teachers with on-demand learning experiences that expand their mathematical knowledge.
We help 4th and 5th grade teachers...
understand each of the math concepts they teach
(CCK, SCK)
understand how concepts build on prior understanding
(HCK)
understand how concepts connect to other concepts
(SCK, HCK)
understand how students best learn math concepts
(KCS)
facilitate learning using a variety of math representations
(KCT)

Our Program Includes
Math Concept Videos
Explore math concepts and learn how to develop students’ understanding with our library of math concept videos. Each video covers a specific concept using a variety of representations so that teachers have the knowledge and confidence to support the growth of all students.
Printable Resources
Supplement your core curriculum with a library of thoughtfully designed student resources that target intentionally selected learning goals and develop students’ conceptual understanding through hands-on work.
This is a no-cost optional add-on for schools/districts who are interested.
Live Learning Sessions
Our monthly coaching calls provide additional support in transferring the knowledge gained from the math concept videos into practice in the classroom. These calls follow a variety of formats from answering teachers’ questions to further exploring priority math concepts.
On-Going Support
Learn from our team of math specialists. We combine our years of teaching experience with our knowledge of evidence-based practices to provide timely support to teachers when questions come up. Teachers can request support directly from their dashboard.
